Dr. Wojtek Michalowski is Full Professor at the School of Management and currently Director of the Master’s in Health Administration (since 2000). His research focuses on decision support methods for complex problem solving. He is widely published in management science methodologies in multicriteria decision analysis. Areas of application of his work have included investing decision making, finance, and health care. He has worked closely with research team member Dr. Dan Lane on graduate team teaching and in research projects in fisheries multicriteria stock assessment methods and health care evaluation of novel foods.
As co-investigator on this project, Dr. Michalowski will be responsible for overseeing the methodologies for the multicriteria decision support models and their data analysis and applications. He will also be responsible for the direct supervision of graduate students at the University of Ottawa committed to the project especially on the theme of multicriteria problem solving. Finally, he will assist in the management and planning of the regular (quarterly) review workshops with the research participants.
