The "Muticriteria Evaluation of Environmental Interactions in Coastal Aquaculture Sites" project will work over the two fiscal years 2004/2005 and 2005/2006 to address the following AquaNet Research questions:

What tools can be developed to improve methods of environmental assessment, monitoring and reporting on the potential environmental interactions of aquaculture activities, and to provide guidelines to government for establishing environmental standards?

Question #2

What is the public perception of aquaculture? How does public perception influence the development of policy?
